Today we went down to the Annapolis Stake Center for a stake wide rootstech program.  Very interesting and the thought that I could not get out of my mind was this:  I could have attended this very seminar in Salt Lake City this past February.  What they taught and discussed were the recordings of the seminar in SLC.  Very good, however, and next chance I get I'll attend in SLC.

On our way from Annapolis we called on some members, who for whatever reason, have not been very active in church participation.  Our objective in visiting with them is to find out if there is anything we can do to help them.  Out of the 10 families/individuals we called on we found three had moved at least a year ago, five were not home, and two invited us in.  The two who invited us in were the stake young women's president and the Branch Executive Secretary.

Before going home Irene wanted to stop at Walmart to get a few items to bake some cookies from a recipe that Monica sent her.  By the way, thanks Monica, those cookies are delightful!

While at Walmart Irene got the following text from Mimi.  Well, technically, she got the text a little earlier, but didn't have time to check to see who had sent the text until we were walking into Walmart.  It happened to be the very same Walmart where we originally dropped Mimi off, then went back to help her get a ride to Waldorf.

That was a welcomed text because both of us had been wondering about her and if she was still at her daughter's place. We're glad she is.

After getting home Irene made the cookies and I continued typing the contact list so we can be more effective in our visits.
