I forgot to mention that Irene made us a cheese sandwichs.  While she was fixing it she got side tracked doing something and kind of burned one side.  No problem she thought.  "I'll just turn it over cook the other side perfectly and Bob will never know."  Only problem is, while she was cooking the other side, she got side tracked doing something and well....burned the other side too!  Oh well, we ate it and enjoyed it.

We got an envelope package the other day from Josh, Jo-Elle, Hailey, and Nikolai.  We were pleasantly surprised to find it full of love notes on hearts.  We loved and appreciated them so much.
Hearts from Grand Kids, Hailey and Nikolai.
Notice the Missionary Names Tags on two of the hearts.  Pretty cleaver.

Sister Christiansen asked use to assist her with the New Missionary Training Luncheon in Fredrick, MD.  This much I can tell you, MISSIONARIES LOVE TO EAT!

When we spent the night with Jeremy and Joy coming out to Maryland, I used this cool pillow and slept pretty well that night.  So, Jeremy and Joy sent us a pillow like the one I used.  I had them send it to the Mission Office, because it's just easier to get packages when they're sent there instead of our apartments.  The only problem is, there is another Elder Moore here in the Mission and he took it thinking it was for him.  The best part about it is that he is also our District Leader so it was easier to get it from him at District Meeting.  I'm just glad he was not serving in Cumberland, MD, some two hours away.  We also go some cute letters and pictures from Granddaughter Addy and Jed.

Our golfing buddies.  Bob & Kay Rose.
Today on our preparation day we went golfing.  We were paired up with another couple, Bob and Kay Rose.  Some of the nicest people you'd every want to meet.  Irene and I wore our name tags and Bob was quick to point out that they were Methodists.  We had a great time with them and we were very compatible as golfers, in other words our scores were about the same.  Kay is a tall slender woman and has a very nice golf swing.  At the top of the back swing she pauses for 1.5 to 2 seconds, then sweeps the ball off very consistently.  It was just a pleasure to spend the day with the two of them.
We're smiling...so we haven't started golfing yet.

Tomorrow we will finish reading the New Testament again and will start the Book of Mormon, again.  The New Testament is a great volume of scripture and we loved reading the testimonies of the New Testament prophets and apostles of Jesus Christ.  Being I witnesses, as they were, gives a great perspective to their testimonies.
