Sunday--Sept. 13th

This weekend has been marvelous. Early Saturday morning Elder Carlson and our District leader Elder Burrup came over so they could ride with us to Annapolis Stake center to listen to an apostle of God speak to all the missionaries in the Maryland Baltimore mission. We also stopped in Glen Burnie and picked up the sister missionaries. 

 Elder Cook and his wife spoke along with Elder Gerard of the seventy. President and Sister Christiansen spoke also and Elder Cook shook hands with every single missionary. That was amazing to feel his love for us. 

I took coupious notes on everything said. He left us with his apostolic blessing that was so tender and left us with comforted hearts and made us feel special as if it was tailored just for us. 

After our meeting we went to a park where we ate the lunch I had packed.  It was fun and great to enjoy these wonderful servants of God. 

That evening we went back for the adult session of conference. It was wonderful also. 

The next morning we invited the Elders for early breakfast before going to Bowie State college where, for the first time ever, that Stake has been together at one place.

We ate eggs, bacon, toast, and fruit. Left for a place we've never been. The drive was beautiful and the auditorium was large enough to hold everyone.

We are so grateful for this gospel and for wonderful words of wisdom we received. To feel the love of an apostle of God. 

In front of Bowie State where we had conference. Oh we also brought lunch to eat. We saw picnic tables across the parking lot so we went over to eat. Not long after we began our lunch  a lady came over and told us that we couldn't eat there that it was a shrine and sacred. It totally looked like a picnic area. We didn't argue but apologize and went back to the car and tailgated. Still way fun. 

We are babysitting our neighbor Franks fish for the week. Easiest sitting I've ever done. You feed it 2 tiny pellets once a day. That's it.
