Today has been rainy and the water much needed. We were able to get our walk in early this morning before it stormed on us.
With all the traveling we do and mileage we put on the car we needed to take it in for an oil change. Since we left Utah we have put about 5300 miles on the car. The Honda dealership is not like the one in Utah. I get a much better deal and better service. Oh well that's life.
Now for the bits of goodness!
This is what I did today to give some to the Elders in our branch who inspire us everyday and also to Br. Crus because he is taking us for Maryland blue crab tonight with the Elders.
This is what I planned to do for Estelle tomorrow so she can feel beautiful for stake conference when Elder Cook of the quorum of the twelve apostles comes this weekend. Also I told her she needed to wear a dress or skirt to conference and asked her did she have one. She said she did but it had a tear so I will fix it also.
Here at night people have lights in their windows all year long. It is a tradition here from along time ago when men were at war so you remember them always and keep them in your heart-always.
Last this is a light house at the inner harbor we saw last week. It was out on the Chesapeake Bay for many years 1856 and was moved to the inner harbor in 1989 and restored. It is so cute.
I forgot this old church I saw and the beautiful carvings all over the entrance If you can enlarge it and see the details you will see why it is amazing.
We love the gospel and our Savior Jesus Christ. We are so blessed to serve in this wonderful State of Maryland that has a love of God and country.
